You've got it backwards. I hit myself in the face when I went for a shot near the net, the racket hit the net, and bounced back into my face. It was after that (because I lost the point, and because my face hurt) that I decided to teach that G.D. racket some manners. That one never did get any better, but the others were paying attention, and have been significantly less insubordinate since then.

I kinda want to see Pineapple Express, because everybody says OMG it's soooo funny. But really, they said the same thing about Superbad, and I only thought that movie was "meh."

Matt: I know. Which is why I hate myself for being a hypocrite. I guess it's not so much about the winning but about being equal. It's no fun being slaughtered all the time. (Although I do have to give myself kudos for not giving up).

Actually, the racket hit me in the face after bouncing off the top of the net (and that after a really, really nice shot.) It was because I lost that point, and because my face hurt, that I beat the racket senseless. I didn't hurt myself WHILE beating the racket.

Waitaminute, aren't you the same woman who told me a month or so ago that winning isn't the important thing?? :) Scary enough, you and the wife have a lot in common (not liking the significant other beating them in games all the time and members of Weight Watchers). Keep it up though.

I agree with you completely! Usually, people that won't investigate the truth of information are only interested in finding confirmation for their firmly established beliefs.
